Kimberley Nolan, Campus Student Support Assistant at OneSchool Global Toowoomba has been awarded 2026 Queensland Teacher Aide of the Year. The award recognises teacher aides who demonstrate exceptional impact on student learning, wellbeing and inclusion, with Kimberley’s work highlighted for both its measurable outcomes and the care she brings to supporting students every day. Two students from OneSchool Global’s Melton campus have been recognised for their outstanding academic performance at the Premier’s Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Awards. These awards recognise the top-performing students in the state for their exceptional achievements during the 2025 VCE. The two OneSchool Global students, Alanah and Zara, were the state’s top performers for Vocational Education and Training (VET) Business, a subject in which students at the school have consistently excelled in recent years. Abbey Tune, geography lead based at our Kenley campus in the UK, has been recognised in two prestigious education awards. She has been awarded a Silver 2026 Pearson National Teaching Award for ‘Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School’ and was recognised as a finalist in the TES School Awards for ‘Subject Lead of the Year (Secondary)’. Julie Murray, Regional Director of Teaching and Learning (Primary), has been recognised internationally with a Globee Award for her outstanding leadership in uniting OneSchool Global Australia’s 31 campuses through a nationally aligned primary curriculum. Julie has championed collaboration, trust and continuous improvement, contributing to stronger student outcomes and greater teacher confidence nationwide. Mary Baxter, Regional Director of Teaching and Learning (Secondary), has been recognised internationally with a Globee Award, adding to several leadership awards she has received over the past year. Under Mary’s leadership, OSG successfully transitioned to a national model—a testament to her vision, resilience and commitment to meaningful change. Rachel was named a finalist in the Education Resources Awards (Leadership in Education), awarded Platinum winner at the Titan Awards (Outstanding Female in Education & Mentorship) and received a Silver honour at the Noble Business Awards (Outstanding Leadership in Education). The recognition reflects her influence on student experience and organisational culture, particularly in the areas of wellbeing, consistency of practice and staff capability. Sarah McCarthy, Global Head of Corporate Affairs, has recently been honoured with two prestigious international awards. The Ragan Awards recognise excellence in PR and communications and Sarah was named among Ragan’s Top Women in Communications in the Change Agent category. Further, Sarah was also recognised in the global TITAN Women in Business Awards, which celebrate outstanding women leaders for excellence and impact, for excellence in PR and Communications. We’re delighted to share that our OneSchool Global Kenley teacher Mr. Ainsley was crowned National Red Phase Tackling Tables Champion. Tackling Tables is a UK-wide primary school math’s’ resource designed to build speed, fluency, and confidence with times tables. Competing against teachers across the country. Well done also to Ms. Samantha Saxton, who secured a very close second place – just one second behind! A fantastic achievement by both OSG educators.
