OneSchool Global (OSG) has been celebrated on the international stage, receiving a prestigious Silver A’ Design Award for its innovative Learning to Learn framework. 
The A’Design Award and Competition recognises exceptional design excellence in products, projects and services, and OSG has received the Silver Award for its excellence in education design.
OSG is one of the world’s largest global school networks, delivering its student-directed learning model to 8,000 students across more than 120 campuses in 20 countries.
Chris O’Reilly, OneSchool Global Acting Global Head of Education, said the recognition reflects the organisation’s commitment to its founding vision.
“OneSchool Global was founded on a vision of high-quality education that enables students to learn how to learn and achieve the best possible outcomes,” Mr O’Reilly said.
“Our Learning to Learn framework brings that vision to life and was developed to increase student engagement and independence.
“Built around three key components, Assignment, Lesson and Study, the framework is a structured yet flexible model that empowers students to take greater ownership of their learning.”
Dr Selina Samuels, international education expert and the author of the Learning to Learn Framework, said that the framework is applicable to all curricula, built on robust structures and practices, and informed by research and educational strategies that are proven to be successful.
“I think the real innovation of the framework is being able to deliver a consistently high quality of teaching and learning across multiple regions and campuses while also ensuring each student’s learning needs are met, giving all students the opportunity to be active and successful learners,” Dr Samuels said.
The A’ Design Award and Competition is one of the world’s largest international design programs, attracting entries from across multiple disciplines and countries each year.
Submissions are evaluated through a blind peer-review process by an expert jury of academics, design professionals and members of the international press.
The Silver A’ Design Award is presented to a select group of top-performing entries, recognising projects that demonstrate a high level of innovation, functionality and impact within their category.
