Representative of the effort of students and staff across the globe in 2021, OneSchool Global final year students in Victoria have achieved outstanding results in the State’s Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
“It really was a brilliant effort from our educators and students this year,” said Regional Principal Simon Beaumont.
“Two of our students achieved perfect scores of 50; Liam Chippindall in Geography and Matilda King in Year 11 VET Business Studies. Liam also achieved our best ever ATAR score of 98.85”.
In addition to these excellent individual results, the news was also good for students collectively. OSG Victoria’s average ATAR score rose by nearly 6% and the goal of achieving an overall result above the state average was achieved. This also saw OneSchool Global Victoria climb to a rank of 84th out of 516 Schools in the state.
Further, over 15% of OSG’s final year students scored ATARs of over 90, placing them in the top 10% of the state and close to 40% of students scored ATARs over 80, placing them in the state’s top 20%.
“The learning to learn model using the blended face-to-face and online learning and teaching framework has been working for several years now. These latest results reflect a system that was designed to be agile and was successful when put to the biggest test of all – the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns. I am incredibly proud of all our students, staff, families and volunteers,” said Mr. Beaumont.
