OSG Australia recently held a 2-day all-staff conference in Accor Stadium at Olympic Park in Sydney.
The conference was a great way to gather our team of more than 400 educators and support staff from across Australia, together face-to-face. For a number of our new staff for 2024, this event marked their first day at OneSchool, while for others it was an opportunity to connect with colleagues from other states they’d not seen in some time, or never met in person.
Throughout the two days, the team participated in a range of different workshops, and to hear from some inspiring keynote speakers throughout the event. Some of our keynote speakers included Dr Selina Samuels, Global Director of Teaching and Learning, Matt Phillips, our Global Director of Education, and Collingwood AFL Head Coach, Craig McRae.
The conference gave our Australia team the opportunity to network with their fellow OSG colleagues, to collaborate and discuss the goals for 2024 and, it provided the team with motivation and drive ahead of the new school year.
“Everyone wants to be there, they want to learn, they want to help. They want you to succeed just as much as they want themselves to succeed.” said Albany Campus Primary Teacher, Brigitte Rockwood-Turner.
“It’s one school, globally of success, support, collegiality, teamwork – it’s amazing”.
