We are thrilled to confirm that student Taylor Earl has finished first in the Financial Services Examination in the Higher School’s Certificate (HSC).
The 18-year-old from the southern NSW town of Albury was able to pursue her passion for financial services through OneSchool Global’s innovative remote learning platform, connecting its NSW campuses.
Taylor is the 4th OneSchool Global student to top the state in the subject in the past five years.
Taylor said she was pleased to receive the first-place award after seizing the opportunity to study financial services. “I have put a lot of effort in, and to see it bring the results it did is amazing. I found an interest in Finance in my senior years at OSG, so to place first in the HSC examination is really special.,” Taylor said.
“I know many former OneSchool Global students have achieved similar results, so it’s great to be able to follow in their footsteps.”
In addition to Financial Services, Taylor has studied Maths (Advanced), Chemistry, English (Standard), Food Technology and Business Services and was a member of the Student Leadership Team.
Taylor plans to commence her career in the weeks ahead, and also pursue further study part-time in parallel to further her learning in finance and accounting.
OneSchool Global Albury Campus Principal, Melanie Roth, congratulated Taylor on her achievement, and all of the Year 12 students who have now completed their secondary education.
