Innovative Learning Environments

While OneSchool Global definitely subscribes to the theory that learning can take place anywhere, our flexible and innovative learning environments support our students in their self-directed learning.

OneSchool Global’s Learning Centres are equipped with a range of Learning Zones, resources and seating options to facilitate our students’ Learning to Learn needs.

OneSchool students have the flexibility to choose the learning zone that best meets their needs. At certain times, students may need an individual or quiet working space, where at other times their work might require a more collaborative approach. The following spaces are just some of those that OneSchool students have at their fingertips.

STUDIOS

Studios spaces have been designed as flexible meeting spaces to support a variety of learning experiences from face-to-face learning, meetings, group discussions and online learning opportunities. These rooms are usually equipped for video and audio conferencing via a Zoom compatible solution, HDMI and wireless presentation. These spaces will typically have whiteboards and configurable furniture.

BRAINSTORMING

Brainstorming spaces are designed with step-like seating or flexible seating blocks and can accommodate face to face learning, meetings, group discussions and online learning opportunities. These rooms are usually also equipped for video and audio conferencing via a Zoom compatible solution, HDMI and wireless presentation. These spaces will also typically have whiteboards.

COLLABORATION BOOTHS

Collaboration Booths are designed to accommodate up to 6 people. The spaces are often equipped with a wall-mounted screen to which students can connect their laptop for collaborating with their peers.

LIVE WALLS

Live Walls are designed to allow for formal and informal interactions with students at other campuses. These are primarily used at multi-site campuses but could be used at any campus.

QUIET ZONES

Quiet Zones / Focus Spaces are designed for independent work. These spaces are typically not equipped with any audio-visual equipment. They usually include power points for supporting student laptop use.
