Barbados, the most easternly of all Caribbean islands, is surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Our campus is in the central rural parish of St George, which offers a fantastic view of the lush forest and hills of the countryside. We are located 10.3 km from Bridgetown, the capital and commercial centre of Barbados.
Our campus layout is designed to support self-directed learning and collaboration. It boasts an open room floor plan with opportunities for collaborative, semi collaborative, and independent learning. Students can engage with their teachers individually or in groups as these spaces are flexible and can be altered to suit any situation.
We have a large play area which allows Elementary and Secondary students to have their separate spaces for PE and a variety of outdoor enrichment activities which include dodge ball, rounders, cricket, and kickball. These activities help to promote collaboration, build sound competitive skills, and promote a healthy lifestyle and cognition.
Technology is an integral part of our environment, and as such, the campus is structured to facilitate a blended approach to learning with state-of-the-art technology. Our classrooms are comprised of Zoom rooms with screens to facilitate better interaction within the classroom. Furthermore, we are the only school on our island that utilizes this layout with technology and visual aids. We aim to keep abreast of the advancement of technology and bridge the gap between learning while exploring technology safely and productively for both educator and student.
A successful school environment is cultivated through developing a positive approach to building strong professional relationships with staff, students and parents. This provides the opportunity for positive feedback, which can help to further strengthen the overall structure of the school environment.
Our campus culture is one that encourages teamwork and open discussions. It is an excellent facility, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and well-qualified staff who are passionate, engaging and interested in the overall growth and development of the students.
