High on a mountain plateau, the Mt Victoria Campus is situated on the Western Highway, the main route for travellers over the mountains and the Central West of the State. Well placed to serve the upper mountains and Lithgow, this converted Bed and Breakfast facility has unique character and charm befitting to its mountain surroundings.
All MET campuses are committed to providing an education that builds capacity in our students for self-direction, independent problem-solving and intrinsic motivation and to develop knowledge and social skills for social and emotional well-being.
Students are encouraged to develop their full potential and acquire the discipline of learning how to learn, while upholding the values that are consistent with our ethos and a caring, Christian community.
“We are a caring school where students enjoy the experience but at the same time we set high expectations. We believe in creating a culture whereby students can learn to be successful, self-directed learners.”
At Mt Victoria Campus students have access to a wide range of subjects and both academic and non-academic programs to develop graduates that emerge as responsible, respectful and confident citizens that make a positive contribution to the community. The facilities allow the delivery of a diverse curriculum, and I.T and video conferencing facilities are available to take advantage of specialist subjects drawing on teachers and resource from other campuses in the MET network.
At our School, students are encouraged to develop their full potential and acquire the discipline of ‘learning how to learn’, while upholding fundamental Christian teachings and beliefs, especially those of purity, integrity and godliness. The truth and authority of the Holy Bible and strong family values underpin the commitment of the School to provide quality in every facet of education – curriculum, teachers, facilities, management and discipline – in a safe, secure and caring environment.
