Dalwallinu

Surrounded by Australia’s native bushland and wildlife, Dalwallinu campus is set in a sheep and wheat farming region known as the Wheatbelt of Western Australia.

The campus commenced in 2005, with 33 students from years 8 to 12, and by 2008 expanded to include students from years 3 through to 12.

Every student is carefully monitored and extended to reach their optimum potential. We also aim to support our staff to be the best they can be with training and professional development. The use of up-to-date video conferencing (VC) equipment for campus to-campus communication and specialist subject teaching has broadened subject ranges for students and made the most of our resources be they physical spaces, technology and digital spaces and our human resources.

“We are a caring school where students enjoy the experience but at the same time we set high expectations. We believe in creating a culture whereby students can learn to be successful, self-directed learners.”

Opportunities also exist for teachers who are interested in taking up the challenge of teaching by video conferencing, and we support them to be the best they can be. The success of every school largely hinges on the co-operation, communication and cohesion of all its members and Dalwallinu Campus boasts a large number of voluntary support personnel, in the form of librarians, canteen workers, bus drivers, caretakers and teacher aides. We have a welcoming and success-focused culture that develops students who learn how to learn.

Our Ethos

At our School, students are encouraged to develop their full potential and acquire the discipline of ‘learning how to learn’, while upholding fundamental Christian teachings and beliefs, especially those of purity, integrity and godliness. The truth and authority of the Holy Bible and strong family values underpin the commitment of the School to provide quality in every facet of education – curriculum, teachers, facilities, management and discipline – in a safe, secure and caring environment.
