Biggleswade supports YoungMinds

Over the year, our students and staff at each campus have chosen charities to fundraise for.

Our Biggleswade campus (UK) recently undertook fundraising for YoungMinds, a national mental health charity supporting young people.

Our Year 11s took ownership and responsibility for planning and organising fundraising activities.

Over two weeks they organised several events such as a “Wear It Green” day, where the campus was filled with colour.

Our amazing Year 11 students also organised and ran a cake sale in support of YoungMinds.

Thanks to the creativity of our students and the generosity of the OneSchool Global community, Biggleswade raised £360 in total.

One of our Year 11’s told us more about the day, commenting, “Our class organised ‘Wear It Green Day’ at campus in support of YoungMinds, and it was fantastic to see everyone get involved. The day created a real sense of energy across the building, and we were proud to raise money for such an important charity.”

Craig D’Cunha, Campus Principal also commented, “I am incredibly proud of our students for the maturity, compassion and initiative they showed in organising fundraising activities. Their willingness to engage, lead and contribute so positively demonstrates a strong sense of community and a genuine commitment to looking after the wellbeing of others.”
