Swaffham Students Raise £500 for Local Children’s Hospice

Students at OneSchool Global Swaffham campus have demonstrated outstanding community spirit by raising more than £500 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), helping to support children with life-threatening conditions and their families across the region.

Led by the Student Leadership Team, the fundraiser brought the campus community together in support of a local cause that is making a meaningful difference to the lives of many families. Students carefully planned and organised the event, coordinating activities, promoting the fundraiser across the campus and encouraging participation from both students and staff.

The event featured the sale of doughnuts and ice cream, creating a vibrant atmosphere with staff and students showing great enthusiasm and generosity. The strong support from the campus community resulted in a fantastic total of £500 being raised for EACH.

The fundraising was a cornerstone of the Student Leadership Team’s wider fundraising target of £1,500 for the academic year, reflecting their continued commitment to supporting worthwhile causes and giving back to the local community.

“We are delighted with the total raised for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices” said Mark Clayton, OSG Swaffham Campus Principal. “Our Student Leadership Team show high levels of commitment to championing good causes, and this particular event has proved to be one of our most successful fundraisers. It was a privilege seeing the students’ hard work pay off as they submitted over £500 to the charity representative.”

The success of the fundraiser highlights the generosity, teamwork and community-minded approach that are valued across OneSchool Global.
