OneSchool Global North America is proud to celebrate the opening of its new Oxbow campus in Saskatchewan, Canada, marking an exciting milestone in the campus’s continued journey of growth and development.
The new purpose-built campus was officially unveiled during our Grand Opening event themed “Welcome home.”, which It brought together many stakeholders who eagerly joined in on the celebration. In addition to OneSchool students, families and staff, attendees included: Troy Froehlich, the Superintendent of Independent Schools & Programs for the Ministry of Education in Saskatchewan; Lane Nicholls, the Recreation Manager for the town of Oxbow; members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police; and leaders from across OneSchool Global North America, all of whom made time to join this special occasion.
“I was delighted to be part of the OSG Oxbow grand opening celebration and appreciated the opportunity to share in such a special occasion,” said Troy Froehlich, Superintendent Saskatchewan Ministry of Education.
The event celebrated OSG Oxbow’s history, tracing its growth from its first campus in 2004 to its current location. Along the way, each chapter has played a role in creating the strong community that students and staff enjoy today.
Designed to support OneSchool Global’s Learning to Learn Framework, the new campus provides bright, connected learning spaces that enhance collaboration, engagement and our students’ success. The facility features dedicated Primary and Secondary Learning Centres, soundproof learning rooms, a modern gymnasium with a professional sports floor and a permanent stage for campus events and presentations.
Stephen Lukasiuk, Regional Director of Infrastructure Delivery was especially thankful for this event.
“For a small community like Oxbow, a new school represents more than walls and a roof. It’s a symbol of progress, opportunity and confidence in the future. The construction of this new campus took the efforts of many and marks a significant milestone for the community. It reflects the OSG commitment to ensuring students have access to safe, modern, and inspiring learning environments that support their success both inside and outside the classroom.”
Each design decision was carefully made to create a more connected learning environment, replacing the challenges of previous facilities with spaces built specifically for the needs of students and staff.
Campus Principal Devin Tide shared: “We were able to bring people together to celebrate the journey of our campus and we are very happy and excited to be here in this state-of-the-art facility.”
The new Oxbow campus is a great example of OneSchool Global’s commitment to providing exceptional learning environments for our staff and students.
As attendees toured the new campus, the students and staff beamed with pride as they showcased this great space, they’re thrilled to call “home”.
