OSG’s Perfect Pitch named top 3 finalist at Australian Event Awards 

OneSchool Global’s student-led business challenge, Perfect Pitch, has been named a finalist for Best Corporate Event at the 2025 Australian Event Awards.

The global competition ran across 10 time zones and involved 100 students from OSG campuses worldwide. It ended with a live online finale in March, broadcast-quality, watched by more than 5,000 people. 

Matt Phillips, OSG’s Global Head of Education, said the recognition reflects OSG’s commitment to real-world learning. 

“Perfect Pitch was our most ambitious student event yet. It gave students a chance to lead, collaborate globally, and present professionally,” said Phillips. “Thanks to our AV partner Corporate Technology Services, the finale ran flawlessly and showcased the talent across our network.” 

Modelled on the TV shows Shark Tank and Dragons’ Den, Perfect Pitch asked students to develop and pitch innovative business plans to a panel of judges. The finale featured 35 students, five judges, and one host, all speaking live across continents. 

Duncan Lugstein, Managing Director at Corporate Technology Services, said the event was a technical and creative success. 

“We worked closely with OSG’s Communications and IT teams to deliver a high-quality experience. It was a true showcase of student talent and global collaboration.”
