OneSchool Global students receive prestigious academic awards

Students from two of our Victorian OneSchool Global (OSG) campuses have been recognised for their outstanding academic performance at the Premier’s Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Awards. These awards recognise top-performing students for their exceptional achievements during the 2024 VCE.

At an award presentation ceremony held in Melbourne earlier this month, a select group of students were presented with study awards if they scored 46 or above in a particular subject, recognising the best academic performers in the state.

Of the more than 60,000 students who completed the VCE in 2024, only around 300 received awards on the night.

Two OneSchool Global students received the prestigious study award for Vocational Education and Training (VET) Business – Isla from our Melton campus, who achieved a perfect score of 50, and Kalarni from our Nathalia campus, with an excellent score of 47.

Simon Beaumont, Regional Principal at OSG, said the awards were testament to the school’s innovative learning approach and the dedication of both students to their studies.

“These awards are tremendous recognition for Isla and Kalarni, who worked hard and always brought a positive attitude to the classroom. Having two award winners in such an elite group of Victorian students is incredible and showcases the benefits of our innovative approach to education.”

Mr Beaumont also said quality teaching was key to the academic success of both students.

“At OSG, we have passionate and supportive teachers who are invested in the success of their students. This was exemplified by Isla and Kalarni’s teacher, Mrs Emma Rice, whose knowledge and ability to meaningfully connect with students is a big reason why they both did so well.”

Congratulations Isla and Kalarni. We are so proud of you!
