Sarah McCarthy honoured with two prestigious international awards

Sarah McCarthy, Global Head of Corporate Affairs, has recently been honoured with two prestigious international awards. The Ragan Awards recognise excellence in PR and communications and Sarah was named among Ragan’s Top Women in Communications in the Change Agent category. Further, Sarah was also recognised in the global TITAN Women in Business Awards, which celebrate outstanding women leaders for excellence and impact, for excellence in PR and Communications. National Red Phase Tackling Tables Champion

We’re delighted to share that our OneSchool Global Kenley teacher Mr. Ainsley was crowned National Red Phase Tackling Tables Champion. Tackling Tables is a UK-wide primary school math’s’ resource designed to build speed, fluency, and confidence with times tables. Competing against teachers across the country. Well done also to Ms. Samantha Saxton, who secured a very close second place – just one second behind! A fantastic achievement by both OSG educators.

First in state for HSC

For an eighth time, Maitland teacher Andra Rensburg has guided her students to the top of the state for Financial Services in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) – with two students claiming First in Course in 2025. Year 12 students Bonnita from our Albury campus and Haigh from our Sydney campus have received equal first-place awards at the 2025 First in Course ceremony at the University of NSW. Australian Event Awards

OSG’s Perfect Pitch named top 3 finalist at Australian Event Awards. Our student-led business challenge, Perfect Pitch, was named a finalist for Best Corporate Event at the 2025 Australian Event Awards. The global competition ran across 10 time zones and involved 100 students from OSG campuses worldwide. It ended with a live online finale in March, broadcast-quality, watched by more than 5,000 people. Click here to read the full story.

ESSARP Learner Award

Eliano, a student from our OneSchool Global Rosario campus (Argentina) was awarded an Outstanding Cambridge – ESSARP Learner Award! The ESSARP awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of secondary school learners in Cambridge exams around the world. At a ceremony in Buenos Aires earlier this month, Eliano was one of 57 students from across Argentina to receive an award for exceptional performance in the Cambridge IGCSE and AS & A Level examinations.

Australian Education Awards

Brooke Collington from our Adelaide campus (Australia) was named as a finalist for Primary School Teacher of the Year (Non-government) at the 2025 Australian Education Awards held in Sydney on Friday 8 August. Brooke is known for her OSG-first mantra and passion for fostering meaningful connections with her students. Students from two of our Victorian campuses (Australia) were recognised for their outstanding academic performance at the Premier’s Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Awards. Financial Services Examination

Orange (Australia) student Rory Wallace finished first in the Financial Services Examination in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) – making him the fifth consecutive OneSchool Global (OSG) student to achieve the result. The OSG Year 12 student from the Central Western NSW city of Orange was able to pursue his passion for financial services through OneSchool Global’s innovative remote learning platform which connects across its NSW campuses.
