OneSchool Global Australia Teacher, Samantha Naidoo has been recognised with two University awards while completing her Masters of Education.
Samantha, Head of Department for English and based OneSchool’s Sydney Campus, has been supported in her studies by the OneSchool Staff Education Program. The program provides financial assistance to staff developing their teaching capabilities via further study through university or other higher education providers.
Studying at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) while working full-time with OneSchool Global, Samantha was recognised on the Dean’s Merit List for Academic Excellence Across All Subjects and Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts Award for Achievement in Adult Education.
“It was great to be presented with the awards by the Dean and to be acknowledged on the 2022 Dean’s merit list! I realised that the thrill never goes out of acknowledgment for learning,” said Samantha.
“I am thankful to OneSchool for their support of my ongoing professional development, whether that be through our in-house Teacher Academy or through external study”.
OneSchool Global Regional Principal, Patrick McGing said the award was fitting recognition of the hard work Samantha applies to her teaching and her ongoing development as a teacher.
