Stonewall

At the south end of town on 4th Street East with a view of several farmers’ fields sits the Stonewall Campus.

As a historical town, the Main Street is lined with notable limestone buildings such as the Post Office/Library and the Town Hall. The rich heritage itself already gives plenty of learning opportunities for all our students.

Grades 3-6 are in a learning environment that uses both classrooms and an open-plan collaborative design. The students benefit from multi-level classes and have the use of flexible seating both in the classroom and in the Learning Centre. Meanwhile, Grades 7-12 use a variety of learning areas such as collaborative and semi-collaborative rooms, conference areas, quiet rooms and areas for those that work best in a quieter environment. Interactive whiteboards are widely used in our classrooms. We also have a school camera and a 3D Printer that are used in specific courses. Every single student and staff has a laptop to use daily for an entire school year. Students have access to an outdoor greenspace as well as track area for outdoor activities and lunch recess.

As our Campus is small compared to many other schools, the school community is very tight-knit with great student, teacher and parent relationships. Having a Campus Management Team and staff that communicate regularly provides smooth leadership and benefits not only staff and students but community members as well.
