Detroit

OneSchool Global Detroit is located at the corner of Squirrel and East Square Lake Roads in the city of Bloomfield Township, Michigan. We are situated on ten acres of beautiful private land that includes a stream and several species of flora and fauna, all within minutes of big city living.

Every student and staff member at the Detroit Campus has their own school-assigned laptop computer and each small classroom is equipped with a large Zoom Room System. All staff have access to large monitors and document cameras to help with their virtual classroom teaching.

Our elementary building has two separate classrooms, one for grades 3 and 4 and one for grades 5 and 6 and its own Learning Center and library. The secondary building is a combination of smaller classrooms, each equipped with a Zoom Room, and a large central learning area. Local secondary staff teach from “studios” located within the secondary building. Students enjoy the fenced playground big enough for sports like soccer, volleyball, and more. A large multipurpose room is also available for daily gatherings and lunch.

The OneSchool Global Detroit campus has an enthusiastic and inclusive environment with a passionate educational team that extends beyond our staff and students. Each year there are new and exciting things happening, keeping everyone motivated and involved. We all work together to enhance our school culture and provide the resources necessary for each student’s unique educational journey.

The Detroit Campus is a very positive and happy place to work. We are truly a team of passionate educators that collaborate with each other to make sure we are at the top of our game while supporting each other along the way. Our students and families are kind, supportive and appreciative. Visitors immediately comment about our environment being very friendly, joyful, and fun. The common and unifying goal of student success is felt between the staff and the community daily.
