Leeton
Placed in the heart of south-western New South Wales, Leeton Campus serves the communities of Leeton and Griffith. Often referred to as the ‘food bowl’ of Australia, Leeton enjoys the distinction of being one of Australia’s richest agricultural regions. It is a great base to explore a range of food and wine experiences.
Located on the outskirts of Leeton, our campus is bounded by orange trees and farmland. The campus enjoys expansive surroundings, with manicured lawns and native shrubs welcoming the wildlife.
The Leeton Campus consists of a range of learning environments. Secondary students participate in online classes via Zoom in the Learning Centre, as well as face-to-face classes for practical courses. Students from Year 3 to Year 6 enjoy a collaborative working environment in their multi-stage classroom. All students enjoy the use of a Multi-Purpose Centre, library, and a large field during break times.
The students at the Leeton Campus use Canvas as their Learning Management System and have access to a range of resources to support their learning.
Having a small student population at the Leeton Campus allows teachers to have meaningful relationships with students and their parents. This helps us support our students’ academic and personal development. Our Campus Administrators, whilst key in the management of the campus and assisting with the organisation of various school events, are also passionate about improving the learning environment and access to learning resources for our students. They also support the ethos of the school, modelling the OneSchool values at all times.
Experienced teachers have commented about how much they appreciate working at the Leeton Campus. With small class sizes, the ability to work collaboratively with other teachers across the globe, and being at the forefront of online teaching, they have enjoyed the benefits that are available.
